心理所研究发现精神分裂症患者的神经软体征与皮质-皮质下-小脑的脑结构网络异常有关
精神分裂症是一种复杂的精神疾病,该疾病会导致大范围的神经认知、情感和神经发育异常。神经软体征(NSS)被认为是最具前景的精神分裂症内表型之一。 中国科学院心理健康重点实验室的陈楚侨研究员带领神经心理学与应用认知神经科学(NACN)团队提供了大量关于NSS对精神分裂症的敏感性、可靠性和特异性的证据。然而,目前还不清楚NSS与精神分裂症脑网络异常之间的关系。
在最近的一项研究中,陈楚侨和研究团队的孔丽博士后以及国际合作伙伴使用图论方法,对101名首发精神分裂症患者的潜在大脑结构网络进行了深入研究。
研究者进行了基于灰质形态计量学的结构网络分析以及与NSS相关联的分析,将患者分为高水平和低水平的NSS组,并检查了他们的局部以及全局脑网络特征。
研究表明,两组患者在全局脑网络特征上没有显著差异。随后的局部网络特征分析发现NSS与眶下额叶皮层、颞中皮层、海马体、眶上皮层、杏仁核、小脑的介数中心度相关。全局脑网络分析结果进一步表明,NSS与包括额上内侧皮质、颞上、中皮层、中央后皮质、杏仁核和小脑在内的中枢节点分布有关。这些区域与被认为是精神分裂症患者临床和行为表现原因的皮质-皮质下-小脑回路异常相一致。
陈楚侨的团队及其合作者正在结合NSS的行为测量和神经影像测量进一步考查精神分裂症NDD在脑结构和功能上的异常表现,以期更好地理解精神分裂症的发病机制。
